“Fashola’s One Thousand Days of a Thousand Landmarks”.

The Lagos State chapter of the Action Congress has described the 1,000 days of the Fashola regime in Lagos as a thousand days of a thousand landmarks. The party says that it feels proud having such an illustrious flag bearer who has become a reference point in progress in Nigeria at present.

In a release in Lagos, signed by the Lagos State Publicity Secretary of the AC, Joe Igbokwe, the party says that the Fashola regime is committed to take Lagos to the heights of development and showcase it as a pointer to the limitless possibilities that still abound in Nigeria, especially in its well abused leadership potentials. While lauding the Fashola regime, the party urged him not to relent on his well focused effort to change Lagos for the good of all Lagosians and the entire country.

“We see Fashola’s 1,000 days as a monumental milestone for Lagos and indeed for Nigeria at this very turn of our national history. We see the regime as a fulfillment of the age-old desire of Lagosians for the best in its leadership and the desire for a regime that will be totally committed to the welfare of Lagosians. We see Fashola regime as a just furthering of the glorious era of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s eight years in power, which began the solid transformation of Lagos, as we have it today.

“Lagos AC recalls the single-minded determination of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to have Governor Fashola for the job, even when every odd was stacked against him. We recall the stiff opposition some people and forces mounted against the candidature of Fashola. We are proud that he has totally justified the confidence placed on him by the Asiwaju and he had worked to the satisfaction and admiration of Lagosians.

“When we look around the new Lagos and the massive transformation going on in all facets of developments, we have great cause to celebrate Fashola, Asiwaju Tinubu and our great party for this wonderful choice. Time and space will not permit to enumerate the achievements of Fashola in the last 1,000 days but we are pleased that Lagosians do not need any guided tour to know what the government is doing in Lagos. That he has become a reference point in Nigeria has further made all of us in Lagos AC and the entire AC all over the federation proud and we urge Governor Fashola not to relent on his commitment to Lagos.

“While celebrating the huge landmarks the Fashola regime has imprinted in Lagos in the last 1,000 days, Lagos AC urges all the supporters and members of Lagos to remain firm and steadfast in their support to Governor Fashola and the AC to take Lagos to the highest level in every facet of development. We believe that in a few years, the wonderful works the Fashola regime is doing in Lagos presently will bear full fruits and all Nigerians will benefit from it. We owe the great works of the Fashola regime to Fashola himself, the inimitable Asiwaju, the Lagos State House of Assembly, our great party and indeed all Lagosians who collectively work for the model state we have at present.
