Emergence Of New Restoration Team: Rivers AC Admits Working For PDP

The Action Congress in Rivers State which arrogates to itself the undeserved position of a watchman for the Rivers People against misrule and undemocratic programmes of the Amaechi administration is not comfortable with the formation of the New Restoration Team in the State.

Rattled by the promo of the emerging political family under whose umbrella, Sir. Dr Peter Odili and Celestine Omehia emerged as the executive governors of the State among many others, the Action Congress though not aimed at by the promo, said it has welcomed the New Restoration Team back to the State and challenged the new breed politicians to come and see what the ruling PDP administration under the leadership of Rt. Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and the Action Congress are doing in the State.

To the New Restoration family, this is an open admission of connivance and secret pact with the PDP to undermine the Rivers people while pretending to be playing the role of a defender of justice and good governance.

The New Restoration Team is shocked that a purported opposition party that ought to be happy that at last the Rivers people are about to be salvaged from all manner of political intrigues that have been the lot of the State no thanks to the Amaechi led-government is already feeling rattled and planning to start another round of politics of mudslinging and calumny.

It therefore becomes imperative to ask what stake Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, the AC spokesman has in Rivers politics when his home State, Ebonyi is in dire need of a political saviour he claims to be playing in Rivers State.

The New RestorationTeam though not perturbed by such cheap propaganda born out of fear by Chief Eze and his paymasters, wants to reassure the good people of Rivers State and all lovers of good leadership that Rivers State, the treasure base of the nation will soon again experience visionary leader that will guarantee freedom, economic empowerment and a whole lot of other opportunities for the majority of the people of the State.

All that is required from the Rivers people is their prayer and faith in God, the New Restoration Team reiterated.
