Lagos AC Assures Lagosians of Maximum Protection.

The Lagos State chapter of the Action Congress has warned trouble makers and their sponsors that doom awaits them if they should try to ruffle the peace and tranquility in Lagos presently. The party, while assuring the good people of Lagos that their safety is guaranteed by the present state government, warned those that are bent on exporting mayhem to Lagos that they will meet with their doom if they test the will of the present government in Lagos.

In a release in Lagos, signed by the Lagos State Publicity secretary of the AC, Joe Igbokwe, Lagos AC said it was reacting to the panic occasioned by the alleged invasion of Lagos by armed herdsmen from a certain section of the country. The party assured Lagosians that the present government is on top of the situation and will deal with any threat to the wellbeing and peace of Lagosians.

“We do not know what could inform such nasty idea in the first instance so we want to state that the Fashola regime will not watch as the security of Lagos State is breached by any person pursuing certain primitive interests. We urge the alleged sponsors and perpetrators of violence that Lagos will never be a safe haven for their folly and that if they try anything that will breach the peace and security of Lagosians, they will live to regret such action.

“We want to assure Nigerians that Lagos is prepared to continue playing the role of the melting point of Nigeria and that the present government will do anything to guard this enviable status. We want those that live on exporting violence to find another venue and ensure they don’t come into Lagos with the intention of ruffling the peace and tranquility that has been bequeathed to the state in recent years. We assure them that the Fashola government will not relent in ensuring that Lagosians enjoy maximum security needed to fast track the massive transformation going on in Lagos at present.

“Lagos AC wants to urge the good people of Lagos to go about their normal activities without fear. We want them to feel secure that they have a trustworthy and competent government that will never compromise their security. We urge them to ignore any rumour of security breach because the Lagos State government will not allow such to happen in Lagos. Above all, we want to warn trouble makers and harbingers of crisis not to test the will of the present Lagos State government, as they will not survive such dangerous expedition. Lagosians should go about their normal daily business secured in the feeling that the present government will not allow anything that will breech their security and well being.”
