Three Akwa Ibomites Acknowledged By Annang Development Congress

Annang people around the world represented by Annang Development Congress (ADC), an emergent Think Tank and Public Policy Group working towards the sustainable development of Annang and Akwa Ibom State in general; acknowledge three Akwa Ibomites that have excelled at home and abroad.

 Engineer Etido Inyang is acknowledged in three major fronts - first, for managing the massive infrastructure transformation projects under the Governor Akpabio Administration as a Special Adviser. Under his supervision, Ibom Airport and Ibom Power Plants that were conceived during the former Governor Atta’s administration were started in practice and completed by Governor Akpabio. Secondly, he successfully led Ati Annang to donate computers and other educational tools to the underprivileged people in the State. Third, he is one of the youngest and most dynamic members of the recently Inaugurated Presidential Advisory Committee by the Nigerian Acting President Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.

Professor Celestine Ntuen is acknowledged for being one of the few Nigerians in America to attend the coveted title of a Distinguished University Professor and for recently being appointed Interim Vice Chancellor for Research & Economic Development at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.  Professor Ntuen was a member of the Governing Council (2003-2006) and Chairman, Faculty of Engineering Board of Visitors (1997-2002) at the University of Uyo.

Dr./Mrs. Eno Akpan is also acknowledged for being selected by the People to People International to lead American Students from New York to China – an assignment she completed with distinction. She was also the pioneer treasurer for ADC.
