    The nigeria network of AFRICA CIVIL RIGHTS GROUPS INC(ACRG)  demands the UNCONDITIONAL AND IMMEDIATE release of ace blogger and publisher of the world acclaimed widely read internet news journal elendureports.com, Mr Jonathan Elendu who was unlawfully arrested and detained since saturday the 18th of october 2008.

    Mr Elendu who since incarceration has been tortured and maltreated and has not had access to legal representation is SHAMEFULLY held HOSTAGE by NIGERIAN AUTHORITIES who have willfully acted in total violation of human rights and freedoms of a free-being as enshrined in the united nations charter on civil liberties.

  ACRG is using this medium to appeal to the Nigerian president, Umaru Yar'adua to  call his OVER-ZEALOUS CHARLATANS at the SSS and EFCC(where MR ELENDU has been moved to) to stay action and release him at once.
