Jonathan sacks Joy Emordi, Tunji Olagunju

by Our Reporter

President Goodluck Jonathan has sacked two of his Special Advisers.

This is coming on the heels of the sacking of three ministers and six ministers of state.

The sacked aides are Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly matters, Mrs Joy Emordi and the Special Adviser on the the New Partnership for Africa’s Development, Dr Tunji Olagunju.

A statement from the Presidency signed by Dr Ruben Abati did not give any reason for the sack.

There are however speculations that Emordi’s sack may not be unconnected with the drama at the House of Representatives when the NewPDP led by Kawu Baraje stormed the lower
chambers.
