Dozens were feared killed Friday night when an improvised bomb exploded in Gombe, capital of Gombe State.
Details were still sketchy, but a security source said the device exploded as local vigilantes questioned a man whose movement in Ungwa Arawa, a suburb of the capital, appeared suspicious.
Ungwa Arawa is close to the state university and railway line, and is a busy spot for traders.
Officials of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Pointblanknews.com gathered, have flooded the scene of the attack and evacuating the dead and the wounded.
