Buhari Names Abuja National Stadium After MKO Abiola

President Muhammadu Buhari has renamed National Stadium Abuja after

Chief MKO Abiola, acclaimed winner of the June 12, 1993 Presidential
Eleection him.The Stadium is now to be named MKO Abiola Stadium.

Abiola died in the custody of the then-military government of Nigeria
after protesting the annulment of his election and declaring himself
President.
