TRILLIONS NOT BILLIONS STOLEN FROM THE NDDC

President Buhari and Niger Delta Stakeholder MUST act now!!
We the staff of the Utilities, Infrastructure, Design and Waterways department for the up tenth time is writing this open letter to plead with President Mohammadu Buhari, all security heads in Nigeria, Niger Delta Stakeholders and militant group heads to act fast, trace and get the known thieves of the NDDC funds arrested, jailed and all funds retrieved from them.
The ongoing forensic audit may be projecting billions of naira stolen, however we wish to state clearly for all to know that TRILLIONS have been stolen from the NDDC with the biggest HEIST carried out during the 8 months tenure of Prof Nelson Brambaifa (Acting MD) and the Notoriously corrupt Samuel Adjogbe (Acting EDP).
Being the department that has suffered most from the activity of these criminals, we wish to advice the fore listed national stakeholders above operating in the Niger Delta to please trace these stolen funds by accessing the bank accounts of the listed persons below, deploy collective efforts to trace all the investments they have used part of these loots to buy and seize them and both funds in the accounts and assets returned to the Niger Delta region.
The duo of Prof Nelson Brambaifa, and Samuel Adjogbe connived with Mrs Anne Brambaifa, Christopher Brambaifa, David Brambaifa, Brig General Charles Opuene, and the highly criminally minded Nnamdi Okykar to fleece the NDDC of more than ONE (1) TRILLION NAIRA through fraudulent projects, inflation of contracts by distortion of the BEME used for hundreds of emergency road repairs, over inflation of contract sums for distilling projects and in most cases the outright moving of funds allocated to such distilling projects with the projects never done.
Never In the history of the NDDC was the stealing of funds done like during the notorious 8 months reign of these thieves. They, however, did not accomplish these heists alone but through the help of the following staff in the commission, Kingsley Oboh (PM UIDW), Abraham Ndokwo (Director Ag MD Office), Eyoh etteh (Director UIDW) , Chidi Nwankwo (Suspended Deputy Director Finance), Mr. Okoi, Engr Emma Audu (Retired Director PMS), and
To our utter dismay, kingsley Oboh who stole close to 5 billion and went ahead to try to purchase an oil rig, which we learnt the security agencies in Nigeria were able to track and made investigative invitations to him in that regard, only for the case to be bungled due to the influence of a serving minister in your cabinet and today he walks free after being suspended by the Akpabio forensic audit drive, to enjoy his loot instead of being in jail. The same goes for Mr. Okoi who served as Prof. Brambaifa S.A. Admin and right-hand man, he walks around a free man after looting over 4 billion naira through fraudulent activities during the 8 months of Brambaifa reign as Acting MD. Chidi Nwankwo and Emma Audu have been asked to go which was to our delight cause of their dossier of corrupt practises, however they are left to go enjoy the over 15 billion they collectively stole when they should be arrested and jailed. Chidi Nwankwo has invested his loot in hotels along stadium road in Port Harcourt and also choice properties at golf estate in Port Harcourt among other assets, while Emma Audu took a loan from banks to confuse security agencies of using same to fund his massive farm operated in delta state which unfortunately is one of the numerous assets, aside houses in Nigeria and the UK that NDDC stolen money were invested in. Nothing would be more justifiable than getting these assets and funds from these thieves and they get jailed to serve as a deterrent to other staff.
Coming back to the main thieves, Nnamdi Okykar, had held sway as a notorious criminal over the past 10 years buying contracts from various contractors at a meagre 5% and going back to the cartel in the UIDW which comprises of Eyoh Etteh and Abraham Udokwu both who are protected by Minister Godswill Akpabio (Minster of Niger Delta) and have been both made substantive Directors now in NDDC, to mutilate the BEME of those contracts bought and inflate them in some cases to the tone of 500m to 700m which they later share such proceeds. That is to say an emergency road project of 250m in value were inflated by the trio of Nnamdi, Eyoh and Abraham and eventually awarded at the value of 750million to 900million with the excess 500 to 750million of Federal Government money shared between them. While Prof Bramabaifa and his wife and sons awarded desilting projects and training programmes worth billons of naira to themselves that were never done or outrightly not existent and they are being protected by a serving minister In your cabinet who stops the security agencies from arresting and prosecuting them all. The fact that General Charles was arrested by the Nigerian Army due to the prompting of the USA was great news to our ears, however the EFCC need to get the stolen funds in the USA repatriated back to NDDC coffers for our use in developing the Niger Delta.
The most painful part of these heist is that the criminal Namdi Okykar is not even an indigene of the Niger delta region, and come from far away Anambra state but connived with criminals like Eyoh Etteh, Abraham Udokwo and Nelson Brambaifa to loot the NDDC dry. We feel even more insulted knowing he used part of the stolen funds to build a church in Port Harcourt and invested heavily in real estate and roads in his home state of Anambra, and now even got some useless and corrupt area commander in Port Harcourt to release 5 mobile police officers to him for use as security escorts within Port Harcourt town. Just imagine stealing money from a region and having the guts to pay for security cover while flaunting the stolen cash on the faces of the suffering Niger Delta youths that are scattered all over the region. We urge the security agencies to track his numerous account using the BVN, especially the accounts at FCMB and WEMA bank and trace all the roads he was paid for in NDDC, carry out a discreet forensic re-evaluation of all such project sites using any reputable quantity surveying firm and be shocked at the hundreds of billions this common criminal stole from a suffering region that is not even his homeland. We also urge various militant groups to get Nnamdi okykar and hand him over to the security agencies for justice to be served. We have documents to back his trial in court if the security agencies can work alongside youth leaders to get him arrested and tried in court with jail term served to him and all stolen assets and funds retrieved.
YES, the NDDC has been raped by repeated board since its inception over the decades, however the heist within 8 months of the IMC headed by Prof Nelson Brambaifa/ Samuel Adjogbe/ Chris Amadi served as a master stroke that may lead to the insolvency of the NDDC, unless collective efforts by Federal Government, State Governments, Security Agencies, Youth leaders and militant groups who are the ones suffering the effects of these heists are made to get the TRILLIONS stollen back to the NDDC coffers for genuine use.
We appeal and urge the National assembly committees of the senate and house of rep that are presently checking and investigating the NDDC to look beyond Prof Pondie led IMC which though tainted from recent revelations but can be considered a saint compared to the Prof Nelson Brambaifa/ Samuel Adjogbe / Cris Amadi era of 8 months and bring all those listed above to justice. Only then will a true forensic audit would have been carried out for the FG and suffering masses of the Niger Delta and the needed funds that was stolen from the NDDC to the tone of 1.2 TRILLION NAIRA be retrieved back for use in true developmental projects for the region.
We plead with President Buhari to bring all those listed above to justice and retrieve the 1.2 Trillion looted so far within 8 months of the IMC tenure. We ask that Nnamdi Okykar be made an example off, so that going forward non indigenes of the Niger Delta would be discouraged from coming to connive with criminals from the region to steal from the NDDC. We will continue to expose these criminals by publishing details of their criminal escapades routinely and go further to produce documents deeded to nail these thieves listed above if needed during their investigation through credible online sources like this one being used and others like Sahara reporters, google news etc.
These Criminals are simply what they are, ‘CRIMINALS’ and MUST BE DEALT WITH AS SUCH!!
All we seek is JUSTICE for the Niger Delta Region and rescue of the NDDC from THIEVES!!!
