The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has directed the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council.
Ikpeazu also recalled his Chief of Staff, Dr. ACB Agbazuere. Agbazuere was suspended following a video which captured him spaying currency on a prophet, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, at Government House, Umuahia.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Onyebuchi Ememanka, in a statement,directed the ex commissioners to handover all government properties in their possession and handover notes to the Permanent Secretaries of their ministries.
The Governor further expressed deep appreciation to the former commissioners for their services to the people of the State, and wished them well in their future endeavours.
