With the disqualification of Hon. Chriscato Ameke who was projected by ex Gov Willie Obiano of Anambra state and his wife to stop Hon. Chinedu Obidigwe from returning to the House of Reps, he is now the only aspirant in APGA who is already a candidate.
But the fight is not over, Obiano and his wife are determined to stop him according to Pointblanknews.com sources.
It was gathered that the former First Family are now projecting Hon. Obinna Emenaka of People Democratic Party (PDP).
Emenaka dumped APGA and picked PDP nomination forms for Anambra East and West Federal Constituency. He has been cleared to run by the PDP screening committee.
A meeting will be held at Aguleri. The meeting will be between Emenaka and the former First Family. The meeting will centre on how to support Emenaka to stop Obidigwe from returning to the House of Representatives.
It is clear that the Obianos have drawn a battle line and it is fight to finish.
A source who is an APGA chieftain said he is worried, how Obiano’s wife will be running for senate in APGA and would be sponsoring a candidate in PDP for House of Reps.
He said that APGA may be forced to revoke her likely nomination for anti- party activities.
