Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has won All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket for the 2023 general elections, that had about 2, 322 delegates.
Tinubu defeated 13 other contenders to emerge the flag bearer of the party at the Special National Convention of the party in Abuja on Wednesday.
The former Lagos State Governor scored more than half of the vote cast.
Tinubu, who doubles as the National Leader of the party, got 1,299 votes, his major opponents, Amaechi and Osinbajo secured 316 and 235 votes respectively.
The Senate President, Ahmed Lawan got 152 votes while the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, scored 47 votes.
