Former Governor of Kogi State and the gubernatorial candidate of the All
Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state, Mr. Abubakar Audu is dead.
A member of the Audu Governorship Campaign Media Team confirmed the
passing away of the former Governor in a telephone chat with
Pointblanknews.com. He refused to disclose the cause of death but promised
to call back.
Sources told Pointblanknews.com that Audu became unconscious immediately
the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, announced the Kogi
Governorship election as inconclusive. Audu was leading in most of the
Local Government where results had been collated.
