Tragedy struck again in Maiduguri the Borno Capital when Suspected Boko Haram Members yesterday shot dead a College lecturer and an Islamic Teacher, a Police source told Pointblanknews.com
The college lecturer, Ahmed Saleh alongside an Islamic teacher were shot and killed by some gunmen who invaded the house of Saleh Pointblanknews.com gathered.
” I can confirm to you that two persons which include College of Agriculture Lecturer and one Islamic teacher were killed yesterday by gunmen suspected to boko haram terrorist.” The source said
Eyewitness account reveal that the gunmen drove into the College premises and demanded for the house of the lecturer before firing several gunshots into his head and chest in the presence of his wife and children.
A brother to the deceased, who hid from the attackers said Saleh was issued a warning letter early this year by the Boko Haram sect to vacate the College premises “but that warning fell on deaf ears” .
The Joint Task Force (JTF) operating in Borno State has since cordoned off the College premises while a “stop and search” conducted.
