Boko Haram Islamic group said today in telephone interview that the group is ready to ceasefire and dialogue with the Federal Government of Nigeria in far away Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
The group says it will prefer the dialogue to hold in Saudi Arabia and not in Nigeria.
According to One Abu Mohammed Ibn Abdulaziz who claimed to be one of the leaders said in a telephone interview with reporters in Maiduguri that “five of our members (Boko Haram) have been mandated buy our leaders Imam Abubakar Shekau to handle the dialogue with some prominent people in the country including the former military leader, Gen Mohammadu Buhari.”
“We are not actually challenging the state as people are saying but the security who are killing our members, children and wives. We are highly offended but if this government is sincere, everything (attacks) will come to an end. We want to dialogue but government must show sincerity in its handling of the situation,” he said.
Abdulaziz however said government must indicate interest to compensate them so as to resettle many of their members and their families killed and those displaced, “wondering around.”
