Chelsea Football Club has sacked Coach Jose Mourinho just after seven
months after winning the Premier League.
Mourinho led the Blues to the Premier League title last season after
returning to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2013 following spells in
charge of Inter Milan and Real Madrid.
However, the champions began the current season poorly and Mourinho has
been unable to turn around the team’s fortunes, with Chelsea’s recent
defeats to Bournemouth and Leicester City highlighting the champions’ fall
from grace.
Juande Ramos and Guus Hiddink have both been linked with taking over from
Mourinho on a temporary basis as owner Roman Abramovich looks to arrest
the club’s alarming slump in form.
