Coup Plot Enters 3rd Phase:Coupists behind Arewa youths quit notice on Igbo

…Plotters in a shouting match over exposure by Pointblanknews

Though plans by a mix of politicians, top military officers and
traditional rulers drawn from the North-west and some parts of North-east
Nigeria to organise a coup d’état have been thoroughly exposed, power
mongers hell bent on truncating an emergent Yomi Osinbajo presidency are
yet to give up on plans to consummate an undemocratic change of government
in Nigeria.

This is coming as the coup plotters engaged each other in a shouting match
at a recent secret meeting over detailed expose by Pointblanknews.com and
blow by blow account of how the plot is unfolding forcing the Nigerian
Airforce to issue a denial that it was not part of the coup plot.

This has also forced the military plotters to suspend meetings and
communications as the Defence Headquarters had mandated the  military
intelligence  to fish out all those involved no matter their ranks and
position.

Movements and communications by suspected officers are being strictly
monitored while a level of restriction have been placed on the movements
of  some of them.

Pointblanknews.com had previously reported two phases of the plot which
included the first part of the plan to enlist Hausa-fulani officers (GOCs
and brigade commanders), who were later replaced by Army Chief, Yusuf
Buratai, a Kanuri, who later raised alarm that some politicians were
infiltrating the military to effect a change of government.

The plotters later enlisted  the Airforce Chief, Sadique Abubakar, to
bombard army formations not headed by Hausa-Fulani officers opposed to the
plot in a bid to force Acting President Yomi Osinbajo out of power and
pave the way for a retention of power in the north-west since President
Buhari appear incapacitated.

The plotters, who are veterans in organising chaos in order to remain in
power have latched on to the next stage: sponsored violence.

The coup plot closely followed and monitored by Pointblanknews.com has
entered a critical stage. The plotters, adept at organising chaos,
disbursed funds to youth groups using serving and former political office
holders to start organising protests against the Acting President, Yomi
Osinbajo government over President Buhari’s state of health, claiming that
Osinbajo and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola
Ahmed Tinubu, poisoned the President.

They were also to accuse Osinbajo of making lopsided appointments and
favouring  his ethnic group. This charge had already taken place with
Osinbajo rubbishing the claim by publishing a list of his advisers and
staffers most of whom are muslims from the North.

With the failure of the above plan, the sit-at-home protest called by the
Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) was the trigger that the plotters
needed so badly.

Funds were quickly disbursed prompting the news conference at the Arewa
House, Kaduna and the quit notice issued by the  Arewa Youths Congress on
Igbo People residing in the North to leave within three months.

Even with the so called arrest order issued by Governor Nasir el-Rufai of
Kaduna State on the  Hausa-Fulani youth group, no arrests have been made
and the youth group had insisted that the quit notice stays in spite of
the threats of arrest.

Further checks showed that some northern leaders privy to the coup plan
are behind the group  that issued the quit notice.

A member of Northern Elders Forum, Professor Ango Abdullahi, who is also
part of the political arm of the plot, Friday, backed the quit notice by
the youth group and even chided the Northern Governors Forum for
criticising the youth group over the quit notice.

Sticking to the tradition of guile and stealth that the Fulanis are noted
for, the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir, said yesterday that he
would sacrifice his life to protect the Igbo but history does not have
such record in times of crisis.

“Sponsored violence is part of the coup plot. At the expiration of the
quit notice, hit and run style of violence would be deployed to destroy
properties of Igbo people while security agencies dominated by
Hausa-Fulanis are expected to look the other way just like there has been
no arrests made on those who issued the quite notice.

“The Igbo people are expected to fire back while IPOB and MASSOB would
take turns to protest in the South East. There would also be some
sympathetic and other inexplicable protests that would spring up from
other parts of the country.

“At this time, it could lead to blood letting and total chaos in the land,
making the situation ripe for a military intervention led by Hausa-Fulani
officers supposedly on a rescue mission to save the country from
balkanisation but the whole idea is pre-planned and to grab power.
Acting President Osinbajo is still not fully in charge and would find it
difficult taking such steps and controling security chiefs not fully loyal
to him”, an impeccable source in the thick of the situation revealed.

“The NAF is a highly professional and apolitical Service that is focused
on ensuring the territorial integrity of Nigeria as well as facilitating a
safe and secure environment for Nigerians.

“It is imperative to state that the earlier stance of the NAF on the
unfortunate coup rumours has not changed,” the Air Force said in a
statement by its spokesman, Air Commodore Olatokunbo Adesanya.

Pointblanknews.com would, in the next installment, publish the names of
politicians, top military officers and traditional rulers involved in this
shameful plot and other details with strong and incontrovertible evidence.
