A powerful explosion Tuesday afternoon rocked the busy railway market in Jos, capital of Plateau State.
Details were still sketchy, however eyewitnesses told Pointblanknews.com that the casualty figure was high considering the population of the market.
The explosion occured barely 24 hours after the Nigeria Police announced the beefing up of security in neighbouring Benue State, in the wake of threats by Boko Haram to attack the state.
