The Federal Government in its ongoing effort to overcome all forms of crimes and terrorism in the country spearheaded by Boko Haram Islamic Sect, will be deploying state-of-the-art security equipment and gadgets aimed at tracking and intercepting terrorist movement.
The National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Mohammed Sambo Dasuki (rtd), disclosed this in Abuja Monday while declaring open a two-day workshop on “Security Consciousness and Awareness for Hotel Owners, Employees and Association Executives” organised by Special Services Office (SSO) in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF) in collaboration with the Office of the NSA (ONSA).
Dasuki who was represented by Maj-Gen. Sarkin Yaki Bello (rtd) said that the Federal Government has emplaced some proactive security measures, especially acquisition of modern weaponry and retraining of security personnel, aimed at abolishing the capabilities of Boko Haram insurgents and their likes.
