Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers on Tuesday at about 11pm abducted the
mother of Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo at her residence in Okpare-Olomu
town, Ughelli south council area of Delta State.
The Senator told Pointblanknews.com that the kidnappers allegedly kicked
and slapped her before whisking her away to an unknown destination.
“They came at about 11pm at her residence in Okpare-Olomu, kicked and
slapped her severally before taken her away.”
According to him, “we are yet to find out where they took her to.”
Senator Aguariavwodo was the pioneer Managing Director of Niger Delta
Development Commission (NDDC) and immediate past senator representing
Delta Central.
He was elected 2013 after the demised of Late Senator Pius Akpo Ewherido.
