By our reporterLagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu spent a whopping $1.5million of public funds to rent the Calivigny Island in Grenada, a Caribbean Island nation to mark the 50th birthday of Aisha Achimugu, alleged to be his girlfriend.
The fun loving governor, findings reveal, also paid $600k for a Yacht where two of Nigeria’s biggest entertainers, Flavor and Asake entertained guests who flew into Grenada.
The celebrant became a citizen of Grenada by investment in the economy of the island nation.
The love birds returned from Grenada on Wednesday by a private jet which flew them and Aisha’s children from her previous marriage.
This is not all as a second leg of this adventure is slated for Saturday, January 27, 2024.
United States of America based business man and publisher, Jackson Ude who disclosed the alleged flirtation of Governor Sanwo-Olu in a series of posts on his verified x handle, challenged the Governor to seek legal address if he considers the allegations libelous.
“I dare Sanwo-Olu and Aisha to take me to court in the U S and I would unleash unreleased details. Don’t play with me!,” he warned.
Aisha’s husband, Suleiman Achimugu was the first Nigerian to die of the global health pandemic, coronavirus, in March 2020. Suleiman was a former Managing Director of the Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC).
