NEPOTISM: Buhari Illegally Extends  Nephew’s Retirement Date In Police

President Muhammadu Buhari ordered the illegal extension of service of his Personal Chief Security Officer, Abdulkarim Dauda, who is also his nephew.

Dauda who is supposed to have retired had his stay in the service extended by Buhari till 2023.

This was contained in a leakped police memo seen by Pointblanknews.  According to the memo signed by the Secretary of the Nigeria Police Force, AIG Usman Alkali, with reference number DTO:041500/10/2019, Dauda, who is a Commissioner of Police, would be allowed to remain in service till 2023.

By this, he would have spent a total of 39 years in service when he is up for retirement. Such privilege is said to be a preserve of Inspectors-General of Police.

The memo read in part, “Extension of Service P.No 23853 COMPOL Abdulkarim Dauda (CP) X. The President X Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces X Chairman Police Council X has graciously approved the extension of service of CP Abdulkarim Dauda to May 13, 2023, X When he would have attained sixty (60) years of age X COMPOL Info-Tech only X Amended your records please.”

It was however learnt that “The presidential aide had enjoyed swift promotions since Buhari assumed office as president in 2015, rising from CSP in 2015 to ACP, DCP and currently Commissioner of Police in just four years.

“That’s from CSP to ACP to DCP to CP! Abdulkarim Dauda, Buhari’s PCSO, is the son of Mamman Daura’s brother.

“The Personal Chief Security Officer to Buhari was supposed to retire but his service has been illegally extended to 2023. He’s a nephew to Mamman Daura. Was only a CSP in 2015 but was rapidly promoted to Commissioner of Police in just 4 years. That’s from CSP to ACP to DCP to CP! Abdulkarim Dauda, Buhari’s PCSO, is the son of Mamman Daura’s brother.

“Recall that Mamman Daura’s father, called Dauda Daura, is Buhari’s half-brother from the same father. (Mamman Daura is Nigeria’s de facto president for whom Abba Kyari acts.) My friends from Daura just called to say that Abdulkarim Dauda is actually Mamman Daura’s blood brother and Buhari’s nephew. That means, like Mamman Daura, Buhari is his uncle,” a source said.
