Sermons…Muslims infiltrate churches, claim conversion

Traditional rulers, officials of ailing President Mohammadu Buhari’s
government and political leaders  from the core northern Nigeria are
dishing out every trick in the book to cling to a “one Nigeria”.

Pointblanknews.com has learned that the core north have moved billions
into the churches to influence sermons and organise prayer rallies
preaching the unity of Nigeria.

It was gathered that payments of between N5million to N500 million and
above were made based on size of  denominations and coordinated by the
Department of State Security (DSS). Agents of the DSS, using Muslims, have
infiltrated many churches claiming to have been converted to Christianity.

While some churches receive direct payments, others receive payments
through decoys and disguises including renovation of such worship places.

Most churches, unaware of the fraud, present such people as new converts,
who later provide useful contacts of such denominations to the government.
Government contacts in turn donate huge sums to the churches to carry out
face lift of such  churches and preach one Nigeria.

Further investigations revealed that security agents attend such services
to ensure that the sermons/prayers on one Nigeria were carried out as
agreed.

“God will not allow this country to break up. Politicians are the ones
trying to break up Nigeria. We are one. Recently, an Emir sent me N5
million. He is not even a Christian. Why are we fighting ourselves.
Nigeria must remain one”, head of an Abuja-based church, Divine Pillars
Church, who benefited from the largess, said during a recent church
service.

Another ministry located in Garki, Abuja, organised a programme it called
“Standing in the Gap for Nigeria”, an all night programme where the unity
of Nigeria was the dominant theme.

The ministry was recently renovated by a female, Fulani muslim convert,
who is also used to channel funds from government officials and oligarchs
to the ministry.

A prayer group from a particular big church was invited to a prayer rally
tagged “Pray for Nigeria”. The prayer programme which held at the Women
Centre, Abuja, also saw some muslim groups in attendance.

The Christian group was shocked to see that the Muslims who initiated the
opening prayer switched to prayer for President Buhari which angered the
women, who claimed that they were deceived.

“You said we are here to pray for Nigeria. Why will I pray for somebody
who has not said anything about the killing of Christians in Southern
Kaduna, Benue, Plateau, Enugu and other places. Sorry, I can’t do that”,
one of the women said as they stormed out  of the center in anger.

Speaking on the development, Leader of a group, Christian Lives Matter,
Abel Okene, said some churches in Nigeria are engaging in activities
unbecoming of followers of Jesus Christ.

“How can you be paid before you initiate a programme on the unity of
Nigeria. Unity of Nigeria should be of concern to all Nigerians
irrespective of faith and churches should take the lead and not wait to be
paid by people who have a self-centered attachment to the unity of
Nigeria.

“And for those who are not aware of the schemes of the Hausa-Fulani people
they had better wake up. How do you pay billions of naira to fund Nigerian
unity sermons that will benefit only a section of the country and you
cannot fund restructuring or even reforms that will guarantee justice and
equity?

“And for those (churches) claiming they have new converts, when they
(converts) are frustrated and feel power slipping through their hands,
they will go on rampage and those churches they now know will receive the
first hit. We live with them, we know them”, he said.
