Abia state, Chief Ude Oko Chukwu has described his nomination as a call to
greater commitment to serve the people of the state.

build on the foundations laid by the Gov. Theodore Orji administration to
take Abia to the next level.
The deputy governorship candidate who is the speaker of the Abia state
House of Assembly, appealed to the people to continue to support the
candidates of the PDP at all levels in the 2015 general elections
describing the PDP as the only party that has the capacity to deliver
democracy dividends to the people.
Oko Chukwu who thanked the leader of the party in the state; Gov. Theodore
Orji and other stakeholders of the PDP for finding him worthy to be
nominated as a deputy governorship candidate promised not to disappoint
the party and people of the state.
He further promised to join hands with other party faithful to maintain
the PDP’s winning streak in the state, insisting that opposition parties
only exist in name in Abia state.
According to him, “I have no doubt that the PDP will maintain its 100%
hold on Abia state in 2015. PDP will certainly retain the governorship
position, 3 senatorial, 8 House of Representatives and 24 State Assembly
seats. There are no opposition parties here; they only exist on paper in
Abia state,” he stated.
