2015: PMAN Endorses Ahmed For Second Term

The Kwara State Chapter of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria
(PMAN) has endorsed Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for a second term in office.

Speaking on behalf of hundreds of Musicians who stormed the Government
House, Ilorin to call on the Governor to seek re-election, the Governor of
the PMAN, Alhaji Saka Danfo appealed to Governor Ahmed to heed to the
calls to enable him complete his various ongoing projects across the
state.

Alhaji Danfo who highlighted various achievements of the present
administration especially in the areas of health, energy, human capital
development, education and youth empowerment commended the governor for
the feat so far.

He stressed that seeking a second term in office would enable Governor
Ahmed to consolidate on his programmes and policies which he said were
geared towards enhancing socio-economic development of the state.

Responding, the State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed tasked the
Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria to contribute their quota to
the socio-economic development of the state by passing useful information
while entertaining the public.

Governor Ahmed explained that his government would continue consolidate
development and deliver dividends of democracy to all Kwarans regardless
of any political or social difference as well as deploy resources to
support infrastructural development and security, promising to always
support all associations in the state.
