Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi narrowly escaped harm after armed burglars raided his West London home on Tuesday, making away with valuables worth an estimated £500,000.
Reports indicate that the intruders held Iwobi at knifepoint before seizing designer wristwatches, jewellery, two iPhones, a MacBook laptop, and approximately £200,000 in cash.
A concerned neighbour said Iwobi appeared visibly shaken after the incident.
He told reporters, “I saw him outside looking very distressed. It was a frightening situation, and he was lucky to escape unharmed.”
Iwobi has remained a key performer for Fulham this season, contributing four goals and three assists in 25 appearances, as the club pushes toward European qualification with just seven matches left.
