Assembly, Abia state has thrown their support behind the ambition of Barr.
Friday to emerge governor in 2015 describing him as a man who possesses the
best capacity to build on the foundation laid by the Gov. Theodore Orji led
administration.Speaking with our correspondent in Umuahia, spokesman of the group,
Comrade Anthony Oriaku, said his group has the observed the wide support
Nwosu has continued to enjoy among different stakeholders cross the 17
local governments areas of the state and has no option than to throw their
support.
Oriaku disclosed that his group had at its last general meeting held at
Olokoro in Umuahia South Local government area, in which it reviewed
political developments in the state, decided to support Nwosu ambition
without first consulting him or paying any visit stressing that they were
not induce before taking the position.
He added that the group decision to support the aspirant came as a
result of what it termed, his level-headedness and ability to sustain
unity, peace and development through building on the foundations laid by
the present administration to take Abia to the next level.
We have considered all the aspirants for the Abia governorship position in
2015 and found out that no one else has the quality needed of a governor in
2015 than Barr. Friday Nwosu. We have watched with keen interest and
critically analyzed the aspirants and from all indications, it is clear
that Barr. Friday Nwosu is the best man for the job.
According to the group, Nwosu is a great philanthropist who has out of
his own hard earned resources supported many pro people causes without
making noise about it. He is a friend of the less privileged. When we
analyzed his programme and activities even before he dreamt of running for
governor, we have all the conviction that that Abia state would be safe
with him as governor than his opponents in the governor race. We wish to
add that the youths will also be well taken care of as he will continue
with the youth empowerment programme of the current administration.
It is therefore our conviction that, if he is supported to emerge governor
of Abia state, he will certainly deliver.
