Former Governor of Anambra State and two-term Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Nwabueze Ngige, has congratulated Governor Chukwuma Soludo on his “landslide victory” in the November 8, 2025 governorship election.
Ngige described Soludo’s sweeping win across all 21 local government areas of the state as a referendum on his stewardship since assuming office on March 17, 2022, noting that the outcome reflected the people’s confidence in his leadership.
“Some of us had publicly attested to the excellent fiscal policies and the massive infrastructural and human capital development projects undertaken by the governor,” Ngige stated.
The former senator representing Anambra Central further urged Soludo to use his renewed mandate to deepen his service to the people.
“Only God is perfect, so this second missionary journey affords the governor an opportunity to rededicate himself to working for the people with greater zeal — to ensure their welfare and security as enshrined in Section 14(2)(b) of the 1999 Constitution,” he said.
“Where mistakes were made through actions or inactions, this is a golden opportunity for correction. May the good Lord guide you, bless our state, Anambra, and our country, Nigeria. Odenigbo, carry go!” Ngige added.
