Suspected Boko Haram sect yesterday bombed a Divisional Police Headquarters and killed 3 policemen on duty in Gulak, Adamawa State, a Police official said.
Police Public Relations Officer in Adamawa state, Nemuel Yoila, confirmed the incident on phone today from Yola, the state capital.
” Yes some unidentified gunmen attacked the Gulak Divisional Police Headquarters in Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa state. Three policemen were killed during the attack.” Yoila said on phone from Yola.
The spokesman added that the same set of gunmen also launch an attack on a Bank in the town carting away undisclosed sums of money.
