Borno Reviews 24hr Curfew After Boko Haram Attack

The 24 hours Curfew Impose  on Maiduguri  and its environs by the Borno State Government  after  attack by  Boko Haram group  have been reviewed to commence from 7pm to 6am daily.

Ambassador Baba Ahmad Jidda. who is the  Secretary to the State government confirmed the Curfew review in a statement issued today.

“The Borno State Government in consultation with security agencies has approved the review of the 24 hours curfew to commence from 7pm to 6am each day until further notice.”.

“All citizens are therefore enjoined to comply with security personnel on duty.

“Vehicles on essential services such as ambulances, fire service and media personnel on duty are exempted.” Jidda said.
