The Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP) has expressed happiness
over President Muhammadu Buhari’s return after weeks on medical vacation.

The CNPP also urged the President to ensure he puts measures in place to
alleviate the suffering of the ordinary citizens.

According to a statement by the CNPP Secretary General, Chief Willy
Ezugwu, the celebration at the news of his return in many parts of the
country is an indication that the people are optimistic that he will
deliver on his campaign promises.

“As we join them to welcome Mr. President, he must not fail to meet their
yearnings. The Nigerian people are full of expectations. It can be seen
from the number of Nigerians who prayed for his recovery.

“The CNPP welcomes Mr. President back to his duty post. It is time to work
to overcome the current recession”, the CNPP said.
