The lagos State PDP has come down hardly on the National Publicity Secretary of ACN, Alh. Lai Mohammed,giving him Seven days within which to prove his moral uprightness by making public his Assets declaration records before and after his Service in the LASG during the Bola Tinubu Administration.
The demand is coming on the heels of the call by ACN that the National Chairman of PDP should resign for the alleged offence of his son.
Apart from the diabolism, absurdity and ignorance of the Law expressed by Lai Mohammed, we wonder the credentials of the ACN spokesman to raise moral issues when in actual fact he is still carrying the moral burden of explaining to lagosians the source of his monumental wealth just after serving as Chief of Staff to Bola Tinubu in a Government that remains the symbol of huge migovernance and embezzlement in the history of Lagos State, so Much that the succeeding Governor got alarmed and said “ahh eko oni ba je o”.
Ironically, while Lagos State is still suffering from the underdevelopment caused by Lai Mohammed and his Boss, Bola Tinubu, the ACN spokesman garnered enough wealth which he lavished in his attempt to be governor of Kwara State. Yet Lai mohammed is believed to still realise over 35Million Naira Monthly from Lagos State to run ACNs Publicity Office.
In the press release made on behalf of the Lagos State PDP chairman, Tunji Shelle, the Party says “while ACN is relying on indirect offence and Morality to attack our National Chairman, we are relying on the direct, Immoral and Illegal offences of: Bola Tinubu, Fashola, Ngige, Remi Tinubu, Gbajabiamila, Speaker Ikuforiji and all their Council Chairmen in Lagos State in calling for their own resignations.
It is laughable that ACN leadership that condones and celebrates all conceivable permutations of Fraud, Lawlessness and patriotism can raise mere moral issues to antagonise.
