Nigeria security forces said they killed four and arrested 11 suspected Boko Haram terrorist in Damaturu, Yobe State.
According to the Poilice Commissioner in Charge of Yobe State, Patrick Egbuniwe said” Joint Task Force on routine patrol in Damaturu, Yobe state, today carried out operation within the metropolis,to fish out suspected terrorist”. Egbuniwe said
Egbuniwe said the operation which was carried out at Kandahar area of Damaturu, the capital of Yobe State led to the” killing of Four terrorist and arrest of the 11 persons believed to be members of the Islamic sect”.
The police chief said some arms including three AK 47 rifles, one Mark 4 rifle, one US Cabin rifle and 78 assorted ammunitions were recovered.
The Commissioner however stated that no casualty was recorded on the part of the security forces during raid.
