Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has announced her reconciliation with former husband Churchill Oladunni, calling it a divine restoration after years of public conflict, legal battles, and estrangement.
In an emotional Facebook post, Dikeh said peace had finally returned to their relationship, describing the reunion as the result of faith, humility, and sustained prayers.
Dikeh said the reconciliation was not achieved by human effort but through divine intervention, humility, and persistent prayer. She noted that what once seemed impossible to repair had now been restored through faith and obedience to God.
“After ten long years of public battles, deep wounds, and pain, God stepped in. What looked impossible and beyond repair has been touched by mercy. Peace has replaced chaos, and respect has returned,” she wrote.
She expressed gratitude to Churchill, the father of her child, for choosing peace and yielding to what she described as God’s direction, adding that obedience to God brings restoration even after prolonged hardship.
Dikeh explained that their renewed relationship is founded on humility, forgiveness, and love for their son, stressing that the reconciliation was achieved through spiritual transformation rather than personal strength or wisdom.
Dikeh also urged those facing similar struggles not to lose hope, stressing that even the most difficult situations can be redeemed through patience, prayer, and faith.
“To anyone who feels tired, wounded, or misunderstood, your story is not over. God has not abandoned you,” she added.
She prayed that their restored relationship would continue to be guided by grace, mercy, and divine protection, calling it a testament to God’s unfailing love.
The couple, who married in 2015 but separated less than two years later amid public controversies and legal disputes, shares a son, King Andre Churchill, whose custody had been a prolonged point of contention.
Their reunion marks a remarkable turnaround in one of Nigeria’s most high-profile celebrity separations. May it be permanent and blissful.
