ADC National Chairman, Chief Ralphs Okey Nwosu, who is guest of honour, explained that the conference is part of the consensus building for the coalition.
Nwosu said the convergence of politicians and technocrats is an indication that the coalition is enjoying the support of Nigerians from all works of life.
The coalition against President Bola Tinubu’s reelection in 2027 is expected to take shape within the next few weeks.
Nwosu said: “Nigerians including most Diasporas are determined to make their contribution to ensure our country’s rejuvenation and the continent’s renaissance.
“Many African youth have reached out to me, from Namibia, South Africa, Kenya and Egypt and most of them in Diaspora, urging us not to fail Africa and offering their support.
“I have linked them to the Deputy National chairman ADC Diaspora Network, Dr Ken Gbandi.
“The ADC Worldwide Diaspora Coalition Convergence is not just a talkshow but a deep reflection of wholesome desire for change with all hands on decks.
Recent political developments have sparked debate over the role of ADC in the emerging coalition, with clarifications still being made as discussions continue among key stakeholders. Inquisitive Nigerians await if the coalition will eventually take off.
