Controversial social media activist, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has withdrawn his earlier threat to shut down Dangote trucks in Auchi, Edo State, following the accident involving the sister of reality TV star, Josephine Otabor, better known as Phyna.
In a viral video, VDM revealed that some of his supporters had been urging him to travel to Auchi as promised. However, he stated that he would no longer proceed with the plan because of what he described as Phyna’s “greedy” approach to the situation.
“Boys are calling to ask when I will be coming to Auchi because I said if Phyna’s sister d!e, we will shut down Dangote trucks. I am no longer going to Auchi to create content again. Dangote can enjoy his business,” VDM declared.
While condemning the reality star, he accused her of mishandling the matter by immediately drafting a compensation list for the Dangote company instead of prioritizing her sister’s health.
“Phyna, greed was your problem. I will tell you the truth. You have not even set your eyes on your sister before bringing out a compensation list. You were not even supposed to have mentioned money to Dangote people. The first thing should have been how Ruth would be stabilized,” he said.
VDM further urged billionaire industrialist, Aliko Dangote, to ensure that his truck drivers adhere to safe driving standards across the country.
“Dangote pls tell your drivers to drive gently in all states,” he added.
Phyna has yet to publicly respond to VDM’s comments as reactions continue to trail the accident and its aftermath which is the unfortunate passing of Ruth Otabor the sister of Phyna.
