The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the appointment of Hon. Inuwa Bwala as the Special Assistant (Media) to the National Chairman of the party, Senator Ali Modu-Sheriff.
Mr. Bwala, a politician until his appointment, was chairman and Editor-In-Chief, Trail Publications Ltd, publishers of an Abuja based influential weekly, nationalTRAIL newspaper.
He had served in the past special assistant to several state governors, spanning across three states, in the north central and the north east.
Mr. Bwala, had also served as commissioner for Information and Home Affairs in Borno State for many years.
A journalist, whose career saw him working in organisations such as; The Punch, Leadership, and several others is to oversee media activities of the new chairman of the now opposion PDP.
Also approved is the appointment of Hon. Shettima Shehu as the Special Assistant to the National Chairman on Special Duties.
The appointments take immediate effect
