President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday announced a Minor change in the composition of his cabinet as he directed that the Minister of state Niger Delta Affairs and the Ministry of Power swap positions.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati who disclosed this after the weekly federal executive council meeting said the change is geared toward straightening the sectors in order to meet the expectations of Nigerians.
Under the president’s directives, the Minister of state for Power Mr Daiurus Dickson Ishaku becomes the minister of state for Niger Delta Affairs while The Minister of State Niger Delta, Hajia Zainab Kuchi becomes Minister of State Power.
The changes take effect next week
