Maverick entertainer and social critic,  Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has criticised Senator Ned Nwoko and his wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, over their recent public family drama.
In a post shared on his social media pages, Charly Boy blasted the couple for taking their personal issues to  public square, warning them to keep their “dirty linens at home.”
“I pity Ned. Both of you should keep your underwear, smelly boxers inside your house.
” Nigerians are tired of this your unending family drama. Marriage no be social media content.”
The popular entertainer expressed concern that Regina Daniels, being much younger, could be influencing the billionaire senator into unnecessary publicity that continues to spark backlash online.
“Ned is an old man who should be enjoying peace, not dragging attention with children online.
Regina, respect yourself and respect your husband.”
Charly Boy went further to reflect on his own experience in marriage, saying discipline is key to sustaining a home.
“I have been married to one woman for 45 years and I must say, it is not easy. It takes discipline,” he said.
According to him, polygamy comes with inevitable complications, especially when there is a huge age gap between spouses.
“A man that decides to marry many wives, including one that should be his great granddaughter, should be ready for troubles. Much more troubles,” he added.
He also frowned at the arrest of Regina’s brother, Sammy West, and the mounting pressure from Regina’s colleagues in the movie industry urging the senator to facilitate his release.
Charly Boy advised the couple to live in peace and stop attracting negative publicity to themselves and their family on social media.
As of the time of filing this report, neither Ned Nwoko nor Regina Daniels has responded to his remarks.
