Gov. AbdulFatah Ahmed of Kwara on Tuesday approved a minor cabinet reshuffle to re-invigorate the machinery of government for better service delivery.
The changes affected four commissioners in the state.
A statement issued by the Secretary to the Government, Alhaji Isiaka Gold, said the redeployment was to ensure better service delivery.
According to the statement, the reshuffle is also part of the governor’s effort to improve the tempo of government for the good of the people.
The affected commissioners are Alhaji Sakariyawu Onimago who was moved from the Ministry of Commerce and Cooperatives to the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development.
Alhaji Raji Mohammed was moved from the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development to the Ministry of Commerce and Cooperatives.
The statement said Mr Bode Olayemi was moved from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development to the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Alhaji Mohammed BabaKpan was also moved from the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.
It added that the redeployments took immediate effect. (NAN
