The entire leadership of Lagos APC has condemned in the strongest terms
the brutal killing of five Security men by militants in Isawo area of
Ikorodu in Lagos State in the early hours on Sunday April 9, 2017.
“Four policemen and an army officer were killed in Ikorodu when they
responded to a distress call that militants including kidnappers had
invaded Isawo community and seized some residents”
“Lagos APC was reliably informed that the kidnap victims were rescued but
the gallant officers tragically lost their lives in rescue operation”
“Lagos APC sympathizes with the Nigerian Police, the Nigerian Army and the
families of the slain Security men for this tragic loss in active duty,
while serving their father land and prays for their souls to be reposed in
perfect peace”
“We are asking the Lagos State Police Command and the sister Agencies to
leave no stone unturned to unravel those behind this dastardly act.
Ikorodu area of Lagos State has been in the news for wrong reasons for
some time now due to the activities of oil thieves, kidnappers and
militants and we are of the opinion that this is time to end the
criminalities once and for all”
“This is the time to end the re-occurring the bad news from Ikorodu and
save lives and property of Lagosians resident there. We are in the know
Lagos State has what it takes to deal with any Security challenge from
Ikorodu or any other art of the State and we are certain that the
militants and kidnappers will not have the last laugh, knowing fully well
the consequences of taking the life of a Law Enforcement Agent”
