Abia governor, Chief Theodore Orji has joined other well meaning Nigerians to congratulate the president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan as he clocks 55years on earth.
In a statement by the chief press secretary,Ugochukwu Emezue ,Governor Orji expressed gratitude to the Almighty God for granting the president good health to preside over the affairs of the nation.
Chief Orji maintained that president Jonathan who he described as a man of destiny has remained focused and committed in his efforts to transform the nation in his few years in office.
He maintained that the president who has initiated serious economic policies aimed at improving the economy of the nation should be supported to succeed.
According to the number one citizen of the state, the numerous challenges facing the country cannot be solved in one day hence the need for Nigerians to be patient with Mr.president.
Chief Orji commended President Jonathan for his support in ensuring that kidnapping was stamped out in Abia state, the steady electricity supply with the establishment of the 132/33 kv power station at Ohiya which the state government evacuated and the return of the NNPC Osisioma depot which was shot down few years ago among others.
“My prayers for Mr.president and his family as we look forward to next years birthday anniversary is for God to grant him more years, good health and wisdom to pilot the affairs of this nation”, the governor concluded.
