Nigerian international Victor Osimhen continued his fine scoring form on Sunday as he netted his 15th goal of the season to help Galatasaray secure a comfortable 3–0 victory over Caykur Rizespor in their Turkish Super Lig clash.
The 27-year-old striker sealed the win by scoring Galatasaray’s third goal 11 minutes from time, underlining his importance to Okan Buruk’s side this season.
Osimhen was also on target in Galatasaray’s previous league fixture against Kayserispor, maintaining his impressive scoring streak for the Istanbul giants.
The Nigerian forward has now scored nine goals in the Turkish Super Lig this season.
Following the victory, Galatasaray remain top of the league standings with 52 points from 21 matches. They will turn their attention to Friday’s league fixture against Eyuspor, aiming to build on the win and sustain their push at the summit of the Turkish Super Lig table.
