Real Madrid head coach, Carlo Anceloti has said he’s unsure if he will be in charge to lead his team to the Club World cup later this year.
The Manager spoke to newsmen after his team’s 2-1 lose to Arsenal in the Champions League quarter second leg on Wednesday night.
Recall that the LA liga champions were beaten 3-0 in the first leg last week and failed to upset the gunners at the Barnabeu in the return fixture.
Bukayo Saka was in his elements for Arsenal. He put the gunners ahead before Vincius Junior levelled the gunners on the night. The sealing goal came from the dazzling foot of Gabriel Martinelli in the 93rd minute. That goal capped a resounding victory for Mikel Arteta’s men. Means, they won both legs in style.
Ahead of the game, speculations were rife about Anceloti’s future with Real Madrid as they’re also struggling to defend the league title.
When asked at full-time if he would still be in charge by the summer, the Italian football aficionado replied; “My future, I don’t know and I don’t want to know.
“Will I be the Manager to lead the team to Club World cup? I can’t speak to you about that now.
If the club decides to change me, no problem. I will thank them”
