Sonny Odogwu backs The Face of Nigeria, Accepts to be Chairman of the Grand Finale

Business mogul and billionaire, Chief Sonny Odogwu, Ide of Ahaba, has

thrown his weight behind the staging of Nigeria’s Orange Beauty
Pageant-The Face of Nigeria, accepting to be the Chairman of the pageant’s
grand finale, scheduled for September this year, a statement signed by
Ayoking Ayelade, Pageant Director has said.

Odogwu gave his acceptance during a meeting with the officials of the
pageant who met with him at his residence in Asaba, the Delta State
capital.

“I have accepted to be the chairman of your grand finale. You have my
total support”, he told the officials who were in Asaba in preparation for
the South South zone two screening of The Face of Nigeria, fixed for April
30, 2016.

The Billionaire business mogul also granted his approval for the screening
exercise to take place in his hotel, Grand Hotel Asaba, and asked the
management of the hotel to support the organisers to ensure a successful
exercise.

The Face of Nigeria is the World’s first Orange beauty pageant to be so
created. While the theme of the 2016 edition of the pageant is
“Celebrating the bests of Nigeria”, the charity focus is on the promotion
and advancement of the rights of the Nigerian Girl-Child to be educated.

All the prizes to be won are scholarship funds. The star prize is a brand
new car with N200, 000 per month scholarship money for one year. The
second prize is N150, 000 per month for one year, while the winner of the
third prize would be paid N100, 000 monthly for one year. The entry forms
are currently on sale nationwide.
