Sokoto Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Wednesday visited the home of the
state chairman of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji
Ibrahim Milgoma, to commiserate with his family over the recent fire
incident which razed his house.
The visit is interpreted in some circles as a deft move by Tambuwal
considering the political differences between the PDP and the Governor’s
ruling ALl Progressives Congress (APC).
Conducting the Governor round the burnt premises, Milgoma said the
incidence has caused much damage to the building, but expressed gratitude
to God that no life was lost.
Tambuwal urged the chairman to take heart and consider what happened as act
of destiny.
Tambuwal prayed to God to ensure such bad incidence does not occur again in
the future.
