Taraba State acting governor, Alhaji Garba Umar has assigned additional portfolios in the wake of the recent sack of six commissioners.
A statement by the state commissioner for information, Hon. Emmanuel Bello, Commissioner of finance, Mr. Iliya Wanapia would also supervise the ministry of works.
Bello, who is to supervise the ministry of agriculture, said commissioner for poverty alleviation, Alhaji Isa Musa would oversee the education ministry.
According to the state, the state Attorney General and commissioner for justice, Bar. G.T. Kataps, would oversee the ministry of health.
Ministry for women affairs, by the new development, would now be supervised by commissioner for the environment, Danfulani Kwetaka.
ALH. HADI LAU, Commissioner for youth development, Hadi Lau, now supervises ministry of water resources.
The changes, the statement said, take immediate effect.
