President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday stumbled and fell during an official engagement in Ankara, Turkey, while walking alongside the country’s President, Recep Erdoğan.
The incident happened during a ceremonial programme as President Tinubu walked alongside his host.
He missed his footing and fell before aides swiftly moved in to assist.
Earlier, the Nigerian president had reviewed a guard of honour following his arrival in Ankara, where he was accorded a full state reception by Turkish officials.
No official comment was available as of press time, and the visit continued as scheduled.
