‎Sex scandal: Group passes Vote of No Confidence on Bauchi ‎Rep

by Our Reporter

A group, Voice of the Masses (VoM) has passed a vote of no confidence on
Honourable Mohammed Garba Gololo following his involvement in a raging sex
scandal during a recent visit of members of the House of Representatives
to the United States.
Gololo represents Gamawa Federal Constituency in Bauchi state on the
platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC).
The group said the member has brought shame to the people of his
constituency.

The position of the group was contained in a press statement issued by the
group in  Muryar Talaka Gamawa Local Government Council of Bauchi State.

The statement was signed by the Chairman, Comrade Kassim Abubakar Gamawa
and made available to Pointblanknews.com in Bauchi.

“As part of the outcome of our meeting held at Gamawa Central Primary
School on Jul 15 , 2016 5:00AM at the end we came out with the resolution
to pass a vote of no confidence on the member in question”.

“While considering the gravity of the allegations which is causing
humiliation to the people of his constituency, the group had earlier
demanded that the member, Gololo  must come to his constituency to explain
to clear himself of the sex scandal allegation”.

“But  unfortunately, Hon Gololo  failed to honour the invitation by making
a clumsy excuse of a security threat”, the group said.

Kassim said the group  is facing intimidation by some unpatriotic citizens
that are greedily loyal to the member in question.

The chairman of the group urged the Committee to release the outcome of
the report as quickly as possible to enable the law take its course.
It could be recalled that US Ambassador, in a letter dated June 9, 2016,
addressed to Speaker House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, alleged that
three members of the House namely: Hon. Mohammed Garba Gololo (APC,
Bauchi), Hon. Samuel Ikon (PDP, Akwa Ibom) and Hon. Mark Gbillah (APC,
Benue) had, on a recent visit to the United States for the International
Visitor Leadership Program, brought disrepute to the parliament by
soliciting for sex from prostitutes and grabbing hotel housekeeper in a
bid to rape.
