Another explosion in Hotoro, Kano, Northern Nigeria has sent panic among residents, killing two suspected terrorists who were identified as Nigeriens.
Pointblanknews.com can report that there was pandemonium within the area known to be a flash point in the state and a hide out of the Islamic Militants otherwise called Boko Haram.
The blast happened this morning at about 7:30am near a gas station, a source told Pointblanknews.com. It was gathered that the explosive device exploded at a checking point of the Joint Task Force, JTF.
It was gathered that a man who disguised as a Truck pusher attempted to throw the explosive device at the JTF check point. The disguised truck pusher and another who gave him cover with a motor bike died from the blast.
Four persons linked with the terror act were arrested and have confessed to the act, according to a security source.
The State Commissioner for Police, Musa Daura, confirmed the incident. He also confirmed that the dead suspects and the four arrested are all from Niger Republic.
